GCYC has a proud history of producing top class dinghy sailors who have achieved victories at National and International levels in the Enterprise and Albacore classes. 

The club has an active Cadet section open to children over 10 years of age 

However. it is not all about racing. Learning to sail a sailing dinghy is one of the best introductions to sailing. Besides being a relatively low-cost entry into the sport, it is a good way to learn the essential skills necessary for handling a bigger boat when the time comes.

Dinghy sailing sessions for Club members are held all year round on Sunday mornings from 10am during the Winter and Wednesday evenings from 6pm throughout the Spring and Summer.
